The Special Education Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public, both in-person and virtually. Registration is not required for in-person attendance at the meetings; however, to attend virtually, attendees must complete a virtual access request for each meeting by 12:00 noon on the Tuesday before the day of the meeting.

Southwestern Elementary School (SWES) earned special distinction for exceeding the state’s quality expectations and was named to the Virginia Quality Birth to Five (VQB5) Honor Roll of Excellence, a recognition reserved for programs demonstrating the highest levels of quality across the Commonwealth.
